About the Authors:
Josephine Bacon is an cookery author, translator and food historian. She has written 14 books and has translated around 30 cookbooks. She is a contributor to the Oxford Encyclopedia of American Food. Her particular interest in the food of Africa comes from her long experience in, and love for the food of Northern Africa and the Middle East, where she lived for many years.
Jenni Fleetwood is the author and editor of a number of cookbooks. A keen
traveller, she likes nothing more than visiting other countries and seeking out
– and sampling – the local cuisine. Jenni's other published works include: Slow
Cooking; Griddle, Sizzle and Sear; and Red Hot! A Cook's
