About the Author

Annie Rigg has been baking cakes since she was old enough to hold a whisk. She is a freelance food stylist and writer and has worked on numerous books and best-selling magazines, such as Sainsburys Magazine, Olive, delicious, Country Living and Good Food Magazine. She has recently worked with famous chefs Ainsley Harriott, Jean-Christophe Novelli and Rachel Allen. In another life, she cooked for a number of world-famous singers and bands on tour, including Tom Jones, Paul McCartney, Pink Floyd and The Rolling Stones. Her other books include Birthday Cakes for Kids, Gifts from the Kitchen and Christmas Cupcakes. Macarons is her latest book.
