The Invisible Matilda Mudpuddle - Matilda's grandfather brings back some special blue jelly babies from the Bahamas. They make Matilda invisible! Matilda Mudpuddle and the X-ray Eyes - Not everyone can see through a brick wall, but Matilda Mudpuddle suddenly finds that she can see through anything. This special power will only last for a month, but during that time she discovers a new source of water for the city, she identifies a gang of thieves and she and her friend Stephen even find a little lost girl. Most importantly she uses her X-ray eyes to help other people.

About the author and illustrator

Gordon Winch MA MEd, PhD is one of Australia's best-loved children's authors. He was previously Head of the Department of English at Ku-ring-gai College of Advanced Education and is now a full-time author. He has had a lifelong involvement in literacy as a teacher, researcher and author. His published works include academic texts, research papers and a number of works of children's literature including a collection of his poems.

Dee Texidor is a freelance illustrator and graphic designer. She specialises in children's and educational books.
