About the authors

Wife, mother and grandmother, edutainer, researcher and author, Dian Benson found the answers to questions she had long been asking herself through the practice of SubContact. Dian loves a good mystery and considers herself an explorer of uncharted territory, the subconscious. Dian's has a Master's in educational psychology, with undergraduate degrees in psychology from the University of Victoria and Camosun College. Although she has this unending pull to be in Australia, she lives in Merritt in BC, Canada.As co-developer/author, she has found her passion in life as a facilitator-practitioner of SubContact. Dian is also the founder of Challenge House International Learning Centres.

After a career as a business owner and executive, Robert 'Bob' Benson MA, Ph.D(1936 - 2003) obtained degrees in Sociology and Psychology in Canada and the U.S,. and stuided and taught in Australia. Bob passed away in January 2003 after a brief illness. The previous year Bob and Dian walked across Canada, from Victoria BC to Montreal Qu, to mark the anniversity of September 11, 2001 - their last major challenge together.
